Fake, But Accurate
Some people didn't realize that our Secretary of State is the spawn of the devil. Fortunately, USA Today found an artistic way to point that out. And now Michelle Malkin is jumping their case for trying to let the truth be known.
So far, Dan Rather hasn't been available for comment, but I figure he's pretty much vindicated now.
They took that picture down late this afternoon.
Didn't that picture remind you of some of the footage from "Obsession: Radical Islam's War Against the West"? (it played Sunday afternoon at Liberty).
No, it was Village of the Damned, with the glowing eyes. And here I thought USA Today had such stellar journalistic standards
Big letdown, huh?
Reminds me of the movie, "Invasion of the Bee Girls," one of the best ever.
Condi could spread a little honey onme anytime.
USA Today has been blocking any reference to the efforts of americansforrice.com for the past 10 months to get any word printed about efforts to elect Secretary of State Rice as the next president. The reason I wrote to them in July 205 was to expose their front page story, "CAN HILLARY BE ELECTED COMMANDER IN CHIEF?
Writer Bill Nichols seems to think only Hillary was being considered for 2008, and so my letter was to point out the excitement of our citizens group spending our own money to build a national team in support of Condi for president.
In the past 6 months, I also wrote to Susan Page and the editor about our efforts. NONE of them has ever been printed. Yet, Susan Page did mention us when she wrote about the TV show "Commander in Chief" but only as a small group which purchased an ad in New Hamsphire on premiere night (Sept. 27). I guess over 4,000 people is small? We also spent money to run the pro-Condi ad in Des Moines Iowa, for 2 weeks, most of them running before the October 22 Republican state dinner. USA Today is not the only paper, reporters from across the nation, and the BBC, German TV and S Korean TV, as well as numerous radio interviews. So we are part of a huge story that has been reported, the story has been on radio, TV, and newspapers. Too bad the buzz is about a PHOTO mistake, instead of buzzing about Condi who could be our next president.
"instead of buzzing about Condi who could be our next president."
I'm right! Invasion of the Bee Girls!
Go hive, keep the buzz going.
Just to toot my own horn, i proposed Condi for Prez 2008 so long ago that i thought the strategy should be that Cheney resign (for health reasons) so Condi could be on the 2004 ticket as Veep to get he some elected office experience.
Bzzzzzzzzzzzz
Hey, Averroes, I proposed the same thing! I have a little twist at the end though...W steps down right before the 2008 Convention just to make sure Hillary is not the first female Pres.
Oh, cute! So Condi becomes the incumbent. Excellent.
Wow, I love the BUZZZZZ. I did hear the rumor for Cheney to step down in 2004 so Condi could be VP. And yes, I also heard the rumor Cheney will step down NOW, (US News and World Report) so put Condi on as VP. I find this amazing stuff. For the DC rumor mill to buzz about Condi as the next VP. Think about it. No other Republican is mentioned to replace Cheney. Here is Condi, a strong person with foreign policy experience and world-wide admiration. Since Condi went to Alabama and was treated like a rock star, the world is giving her more notice and BUZZZZ. I like the idea that Bush might step down (health problem after Condi is VP) to make her president. Interesting idea, and time will tell what comes true. In the meantime, americansforrice.com will continue to raise money and promote Condi for president. No other Republican would motivate me to spend over $4000 of my own bucks as part of the national effort. Thousands of volunteers are on the path of making history and we welcome all those who offer help to inform the people about our effort.

About Joy W. McCann: I've been interviewed for Le Monde and mentioned on Fox News. I once did a segment for CNN on "Women and Guns," and this blog is periodically featured on the New York Times' blog list. My writing here has been quoted in California Lawyer. I've appeared on The Glenn and Helen Show. Oh—and Tammy Bruce once bought me breakfast.
My writing has appeared in The Noise, Handguns, Sports Afield, The American Spectator, and (it's a long story) L.A. Parent. This is my main blog, though I'm also an alumnus of Dean's World, and I help out on the weekends at Right Wing News.
My political philosophy is quite simple: I'm a classical liberal. In our Orwellian times, that makes me a conservative, though one of a decidedly libertarian bent.
