That is, he'll autograph the books. Hm; I've been wanting that Steyn T-shirt that makes fun of "Che-chic" for a while. And I have until 9:00 p.m. here in the land of palm trees.
We've got to do more for the Free Speech Five—that's for sure.

Nope. He does have this take on childlessness--that it's "selfish." And he doesn't seem to have complete faith in this country to do what it has always done: assimilate immigrants. But he suggests that if any country will end up standing up to the elements within Islam that are variously called "Islamist" or "Jihadist" or "militant" (e.g., the people who stone gays and enslave women), it will be the United States.
I have a deeper belief in "the melting pot" than Steyn does, but that doesn't mean he's off base in his entire analysis. The fact is, he may have more to say to the left in that book than he does to the right.
