Lets see if you can display some class about this one Heather Mallick.

I'll try, Az.

1) Mallick was wrong to refer to Palin as "white trash." She was wrong to refer to her appearance as a "toned-down" version of a porn actress' look. (Furthermore, I'm not even sure what that means, particularly in reference to a woman who wears glasses and usually ties her hair up in a bun.)

2) Her critics were often wrong. Greta Van Susteran's repeated use of the word "pig" was out of line. Certainly the Muslim-baiting and Jew-baiting that Mallick endured were just as uncalled-for (and just as irrational/nonsensical) as her original remarks.

We who are right-of-center have to do a better job of controlling our tempers: we must recognize the overreactions on the other side, and see them as indications that they fear this woman's political talents and sound instincts.

We must try not to be goaded into overreacting ourselves.

Mallick was over the line, and so were a lot of her critics.

Yeah, we all know Heather Mallick is the lipstick. Excuse me while I scratch that itch.

Of course, it's not out of line to suggest that Mallick herself looks a bit trashy, and like a porn actress . . . though perhaps not a successful one.

Can you read her article again, maybe give a link to point out which specific line peeved you so much?

I would have thought that it was the fact that she claimed that Palin was a lie as a Hockey mom that was offensive to you. I am sorry to say that nowhere did I see her mention porn or trash. Maybe the conservative crowd wants to cultivate that image of sex (sells) and attract those gun clinging football watching pretending to go to church crowd.

And toned down porn actress is not a porn actress. You can call me a toned-down version of a republican and I promise not to get upset with you. And If you said that someone else said that I was white trash, well you should use some quotation marks, but if they are absent I would still understand. I do like the accurate "permenantly alarmed expression" Reminds me of a few women in the news lately.
